You can see our finest JPD has come through.
We're also looking at the Jackson Fire Department vehicles that are coming through.
Not only do you see them, you hear them.
Jackson Fire Department always appears first in the Christmas Parade.
[sirens] We're so thankful for all of our first responders, the fire, the police, the EMS, all of our first responders that play an important role in our city [truck honking].

It's the fire department's educational truck followed by the antique fire truck.
Thank goodness technology has advanced and we don't have to depend on that technique of fighting fires.
Now we're in the Madison County Fire Department.
Fire and Rescue.
That was Chief Eric Turner riding along in t.. Next up is the Medical Center EMS.
They've got some music playing with their float.
Got the light's going.

County Mayor AJ Massey and his wife and son coming through.
He's got elves that are tossing out candy.
-All right.
-Kids must be jacked up on candy already because they are bouncing around everywhere.
One thing we did do is we waved a lot, and so that was great fun.
-That was much better, right?
-Yes, much better.
Tried to get some photos.
You had a nice, warm car that you were in too, didn't you?

[music] Rather than trading your car in, do something very good for yourself, for your community, and give the car, donate it to public television.
It's so much easier than trying to sell your car.
Think of putting ads in the paper, deciding how much to charge, all these difficulties, you avoid all of that.
Plus, you're doing a good thing.
[music] It's All About Home on West Tennesee PBS, and we want to showcase your community events.
